Dear Comedy Central,
I used The Pirate Bay to download the new epsiodes of Futurama (which were great, by the way). It took me 15 minutes and I watched them commercial-free. I would have watched them with full commercials on your site if you had made that option available. That is all.
Sincerely,
Luke

It’s a shame when the commercial option (if it even exists) is *less convenient* than the illegal option. The majors could spend their tons of money creating innovative and practical ways to deliver and consume their medias, but they seem to prefer sinking them into fruitless action and lobbying for restrictive laws that threaten to suffocate the whole network.
This has been my experience. I used to illegally download music from torrents. Then I discovered Spotify which costs something cheap like $15 a month. That’s nothing. And I can listen to all the music I want with a simple search. No advertisements! High quality! So I share the same sentiment. Make it easy for me to get access to the materials.
I agree with Jedai, too. ABC are pretty good, I’ve noticed. I see they provide episodes of their TV shows in high quality with mandatory adverts in between. And when you hit the pause button, it shows an advert. That’s genius!
It is a shame. But, that doesn’t make it any more right.
Jedai, what if everyone spent their time figuring out how to increase the communication between content creator and consumer rather than caving in to piracy?
It says Spotify Premium isn’t available in the US. How does it work for you, then?
